HOLD DAT TIGAH: 3-star cornerback Marcus Banks announced his commitment this afternoon to LSU following his official visit this weekend. Banks, from Dekaney HS in Houston, was also considering Texas A&M, Alabama and Texas.
That makes it 12 overall commitments for Ed Orgeron and the 2019 class and the second cornerback commitment alongside Maurice Hampton. The Aggies seemed to have the edge in Banks’ recruitment; however, after his official visit to Baton Rouge this weekend, he shut things down and pledged the Tigers.
This moves LSU to the No. 10 class for 2019, per 247Sports.com.
