The Tigers got some great news on Monday night.
2019 five-star offensive lineman commit Kardell Thomas announced on Twitter that he will be shutting down his recruitment and is “110 percent” locked in with Ed Orgeron and the Tigers going forward.
The No. 1 OG in the nation out of Southern University Lab in Baton Rouge initially committed to LSU in July of 2016. Thomas was on campus and a part of LSU’s “Elite Junior Day” Saturday with some of the top prospects of the 2019 class. The 6-foot-4, 340 pounder is shutting things down and says he will do a little recruiting himself.
“Home is where the heart is. I put this city on my back and it’s mine … so why not work to bring Baton Rouge a National Championship,” said Thomas in the tweet he posted Monday evening.
