Ed Orgeron announced after Thursday’s practice that Austin Deculus will start over Badara Traore at right tackle against Auburn. Orgeron said the decision ultimately came down to Deculus’ experience from last season.
“He has experience playing last year. He’s going to be settled down in a hostile environment,” said Orgeron.
Jordan-Hare will be loud and his experience will be key.
Badara Traore struggled in the first two games, the result of Deculus’ switch to starter at right tackle. The performance of the offensive line will prove to be a key component to the outcome of Saturday’s SEC opener in The Plains.
Buckle up, it’s LSU vs. Auburn, and we should be in for another wild ride.
