Outscoring your last two opponents 21-0 is impressive, and that exactly what LSU has done.
The Tigers came into Hoover with a determined squad, and a sole mission to win the SEC. With that, LSU is playing arguably the best baseball in the United States right now. Shortstop, Kramer Robertson, hit a homer, triple and a single in today’s 11-0 drubbing of South Carolina. In addition, Paul Mainieri notched his 30th SEC Tournament victory, a feat only five coaches can boast all-time. With their second shutout of this years tournament, LSU has shutout a league-best nine teams in the conference over the years.
