After Cole Henry’s stellar start last night, right-hander Eric Walker threw five masterful innings himself to lead the Tigers into another SEC series win vs. Florida.
Things were looking down after Game 1’s blowout loss, but LSU responded with two blowouts of their own, beating Florida 13-1 in Game 2 and 11-2 in Game 3 to take the series. The bats certainly came alive as LSU posted thirty-three runs this weekend.
Next, the Tigers host Lamar on Tuesday night for a 6:30 matchup at Alex Box Stadium. LSU will look to exercise their midweek demons at home on Tuesday night.
