FINAL: LSU 2, Louisiana Tech 0.

Paul Mainieri and the Tigers took home a quality victory on Tuesday night at The Box in the shortest nine-inning game since 2002. Usual mid-week starter AJ Labas posted six marvelous innings, only allowing two hits to lead LSU past in-state rival Louisiana Tech.

The Tiger offense was generated by two RBI-singles from Zach Watson and Antoine Duplantis. Austin Bain would enter in the ninth to close it out. With the win, LSU improves to 21-13 on the season.

Next: The Tigers will host Tennessee at Alex Box Stadium this weekend for a three-game series beginning on Friday night.
