Paul Mainieri and the Tigers captured the midweek matchup over in-state foe Nicholls, 10-1, behind 15 hits, and a career-high four from Bryce Jordan on Tuesday night. Antoine Duplantis also racked in three hits and two RBIs of his own, while Austin Bain recorded two as well.

With the win, No. 17 LSU improves to 19-11 on the season overall.

Next, the Tigers will return to action on the road in College Station for a three-game set against Texas A&M, starting on Thursday at 7 p.m.
