FINAL: LSU 8, Toledo 1.

Paul Mainieri and the Tigers posted their most dominate performance of the season Friday night in Baton Rouge behind starting pitcher Zack Hess, who recorded a career-high 13 strikeouts.

It was the first 13-strikeout game from an LSU pitcher since 2015.

The power was provided by junior catcher Hunter Feduccia, who hit a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh to give LSU a 7-1 lead.

With tonight’s victory, LSU improves to 6-4. The Tigers will return to The Box tomorrow against Sacred Heart at 6 p.m. The game will be televised on SEC Network+ and through the Watch ESPN app.
