FINAL: LSU 10, Grambling 3.

The Tigers posted their fifth-straight 10 hit game tonight at Alex Box in their win over Grambling. Sporting their “Throwback Night” uniforms, LSU plated 10 runs in an offensive eruption, also getting a very solid outing from freshman pitcher Ma’Khail Hilliard.

Hilliard replaced LSU starter Cam Sanders in the fifth inning. Sanders ended the night with eight strikeouts, giving up three earned runs.

LSU pitchers recorded 13 strikeouts in the contest, while the Tigers’ hitters blasted three home runs and recorded 14 hits.

The Tigers will return to action on Wednesday as they travel to Southeastern. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Cox Sports Television. Nick Bush (3.75 ERA) will be on the mound for the Tigers.
