The Tigers are playing some good ‘ball, at the right time, so buckle up.

As we hit May, LSU finds themselves just one game back of the overall SEC lead, with all eyes set on earning a national seed. In yesterday’s contest, sophomore Antoine Duplantis, with runners on the corners, hit a walk-off single to seal the series for LSU in the bottom of the tenth. With the win, the Tigers improve to 32-16 on the year and 15-9 in SEC play. Starting pitcher Eric Walker posted a shaky start, however, calmed down to throw a solid outing.

“Don’t count the LSU Tigers out, because we’re hanging in there. We’re fighting right to the end, we’re trying to make our fans proud of us, and we’ve got six big ball games left in this league over the final two weeks of the regular season,” head coach Paul Mainieri told the LSU media department.
