The LSU offensive line continues to suffer costly injuries.
Saturday will mark the 5th different O-Line rotation that Ed Orgeron will put together this season. Starting left guard Garrett Brumfield has been ruled out vs. Ole Miss and Saahdiq Charles and Adrian Magee are both listed as “questionable,” according to Orgeron who spoke with the media on Monday.
Brumfield suffered a knee injury on Saturday against Louisiana Tech and was seen on crutches after the game. However, according to NOLA.com, there was no tear in his MRI and they are expecting him back at some point.
Well, then who’s coming in to replace Brumfield?
Orgeron said that true freshman Chasen Hines is expected to start at left guard. “Chasen [Hines] has been a plus. He’s played well and he’s probably going to have to start this week,” said Orgeron today.
