Ed Orgeron met with the media this afternoon at his weekly press luncheon and provided some updates on injured players and their status for Saturday’s SEC opener vs. Vanderbilt.
- Safety Todd Harris is out for the season with a leg injury, but they are hoping to redshirt him.
- K’Lavon Chaisson is listed as “questionable” for Saturday. He will not practice today.
- Rashard Lawrence and Glen Logon are likely out for the Vanderbilt game.
- Michael Divinity, Thad Moss and Ja’Marr Chase will be ready to go for Saturday.
Orgeron did not say much about OT Saahdiq Charles, but he did say on Saturday after Northwestern State that he expected Charles to be ready for the Vanderbilt game. Charles is likely serving an in-house suspension from the offseason.
Orgeron on Ed Ingram: “We heard very positive news. We have nothing official. I expect to know something in the next couple of days.” #LSU
