Devastating news out of today’s Monday luncheon.
LSU’s top edge rusher K’Lavon Chaisson will be out for the season after tearing his ACL in a non-contact injury on Sunday. The injury came in the fourth quarter, something Tiger fans have got to be frustrated about given the score at the time. This was first reported by The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman and confirmed by Ed Orgeron on Tuesday.
Chaisson entered the season with hopes to break the school sack record. This afternoon, Orgeron said he expects Andre Anthony, Ray Thornton or Travez Moore to fill in for him. Nothing official yet on that.
