ESPN's College GameDay will be at Lambeau Field for LSU vs Wisconsin, says Kirk Herbstreet.
America’s favorite College Football pregame show will be heading to LSU’s season opener.
ESPN’s lead analyst, Kirk Herbstreet confirmed on The Doug Gottlieb Show Friday that College GameDay will indeed travel to Lambeau Field for LSU’s season opener vs Wisconsin. There was a lot of chatter and speculation throughout the year from College GameDay’s producer, Lee Fitting, that they were highly considering going to Lambeau for week one.
“Week 1 College GameDay is at Lambeau for Wisconsin-LSU,” said Herbstreet.
After that, Herbstreet will travel to Arlington to call the Southern Cal – Alabama showdown. There has not been an “official” announcement regarding College GameDay’s week one plans.On Tuesday, Wisconsin’s Athletic Director Barry Alvarez also stated: “I don’t think they’ve announced it, but I think they’ll have College GameDay there (Lambeau).”
LSU and Wisconsin kick off on September 3rd, which is 13 Saturday’s from now. The game will be aired on ABC at 2:30 p.m. CT.
