FINAL: LSU 5, Hawaii 1.

After an inconsistent few games, Paul Mainieri and the Tigers got back on track Saturday night at Alex Box, defeating Hawaii, 5-1. The Tigers were led by Hunter Feduccia, who hit an early two-run blast.

Shortly before, LSU sophomore outfielder Zach Watson hit a solo-homer, as those two hits powered the Tigers to a much needed win at home. On the mound, Mainieri got a solid outing from pitcher Caleb Gilbert, who threw five scoreless innings on 65 pitches.

C. Gilbert: 5 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 1 K

The Tigers will return to action tomorrow at Alex Box for the series rubber match against the Rainbow Warriors. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m. The game can be viewed on WatchESPN.
