LSU dropped in the rankings, but more positives came from it then negatives.

It’s been clear that the College Football Playoff committee thinks highly of the Tigers. They value the strength of schedule and the overall body of work Ed Orgeron’s team has put together this season.

So, they showed their support again on Tuesday night, dropping LSU only to No. 10 and putting the Tigers in great position for a New Years Six bowl game.

The Peach/Fiesta Bowl became much more likely.

LSU’s bowl destination will be announced on Sunday after the College Football Playoff selection show.
