LSU will travel to play in their first New Year’s Six bowl game in Glendale (Az.).

The Tigers are headed to the Fiesta Bowl and will take on undefeated (12-0) Central Florida in one of the more intriguing matchups of all New Year’s bowls.

The Knights are currently riding a 25-game win streak with at least 30 points or more in each game.

Full New Year’s Six Bowl Matchups

Peach: Florida vs. Michigan

Fiesta: LSU vs. UCF

Rose: Ohio State vs. Washington

Sugar Bowl: Texas vs. Georgia

Kickoff for LSU-UCF has been set for 1 p.m. ET. This is the Tigers biggest bowl game appearance since 2012’s BCS National Championship vs. Alabama.

Unbelievably enough, LSU has never played in the Fiesta Bowl and Ed Orgeron is excited to take the team to Arizona. “Our team wanted to go to the Fiesta Bowl,” Orgeron said on a teleconference.
