This time it’s for real, at least we think.

Former LSU general manager Austin Thomas has been hired at Texas A&M, according to a report earlier this afternoon. Back in December, a report from Tennessee’s surfaced and reported a deal was in the works for Thomas to return to Knoxville, his alma mater. However, the deal never got done, in a bizarre sequence of events, and Thomas was a free agent, if you will.

We wrote about it here:

Details regarding Thomas’ deal is unclear, but his final destination is set in stone. He will join another SEC squad and Jimbo Fisher in College Station.
