Ed Orgeron tweeted “Hold That Tiger” on Monday night, but no announcement was made on who committed.

Now, we’ve received word that 2020 4-star quarterback Max Johnson has committed to LSU.

Johnson, the 6-4, 215 pounder from Watkinsville, GA made his announcement public through Twitter. In the tweet, he says “I am grateful for the opportunity that Coach Orgeron and Coach Ensminger have given me.”

Johnson was on campus on Nov. 17th for the Tigers’ game against Rice. He marks the second QB commit in the 2020 class alongside Ponchatoula’s T.J. Finley.
