For a lot of NFL prospects, Pro Day was going to be their chance to showcase their abilities to scouts.
To limit the spread of COVID-19, the event was canceled, requiring former LSU players like Grant Delpit and Derrick Dillon to put on their own ‘private Pro Day’ in Baton Rouge.
See below for 40-yard dash attempts from Delpit and Dillon, via ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

LSU WR Derrick Dillon also ran at Baton Rouge Pro Day on Wednesday, and was clocked in the 40 at 4.28 seconds, per his agent Martin Fischman. pic.twitter.com/tyhDoxLlMV

Delpit didn’t participate in any events at the NFL Combine [Feb. 23-Mar. 2] due to an ankle injury. For Dillon, a prospect who isn’t garnering much attention, a 4.28 40 is an eye-opening time to boast.
