LSU pitcher Jared Poche posted seven innings of no-hit ball on Sunday.

Why not nine innings you may ask? Due to inclement weather on opening night, the Tigers’ first game on Saturday against Air Force was postponed. LSU and Coach Mainieri were then forced to play two seven inning games the following day, one of which their senior pitcher from Lutcher, Louisiana threw almost perfectly. Sunday’s memorable day was LSU’s first no-hitter since 1979, but was their sixth in school history.

Poche’s night was capped off by old-fashioned shaving cream and a gatorade bath.
