LSU quarterback Joe Burrow was named the winner of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award on Wednesday, the first QB in program history to ever earn this honor.
Rewriting the record books with each game, Burrow has totaled 4,366 yards and 44 TD with a QBR of 93.4.
According to John Unitas Jr., president of the award, the winner is “recognized not only for his athletic accomplishments, but also for his character, citizenship, scholastic achievement, leadership qualities and athletic abilities.”
Burrow checks every box, and this will surely not be the final award he collects.
