We were so close to a conflict-free offseason.

After the recent news of offensive guard Ed Ingram’s suspension, more poor news came for Ed Orgeron and the coaching staff on Wednesday night.

Sophomore linebacker Tyler Taylor has been suspended after an arrest for a pawn shop burglary. Taylor had 32 tackles and 1.5 sacks in his freshman season. More details on the situation have not yet been released.

In the mean time, Devin White, Jacob Phillips and Patrick Queen will hold down the linebacker position with Taylor absent until further notice.
