It’s that time of the year … where football is right around the corner.

LSU’s players have reported for camp in preparation for the 2017-2018 football season. Their first practice will be held tomorrow, however, media access will be extremely limited throughout the summer as the Tigers focus on implementing a new offense under Matt Canada.

Ed Orgeron did address the media today prior to tomorrow’s events. In that, he announced that freshman signee Seth Stewart is no longer a part of the program.

“He decided he wanted to move on,” said the first year head coach.

As for the familiar faces, the Tigers’ star DE Arden Key arrived this morning as Coach O made it clear they are not going to rush him during camp activities. “We’ve got to make sure we don’t push him to fast,” he added.

Derrius Guice, who averaged 7.6 yards per carry in 2016, is hungry for more this season. The hometown kid arrived to camp with a smile, proving he’s eager to get this year underway.

Orgeron is anxious to see Myles Brennan, LSU’s highly touted QB signee, for the first time during camp. “I’m excited to see Myles Brennan. I’m excited to see Danny [Etling].”
