LSU landed a big commitment from Stephan Guidry, the No. 1 JUCO WR in the country. Ed Orgeron added his second receiver to the 2017 class alongside Mannie Netherly. That makes it 19 total commitments for the Tigers heading into the dead period.

Myles Brennan, LSU’s prized QB recruit reaffirmed his commitment to the Tigers after uncertain times on Thursday, making it official, Brennan is in. LSU also got a commitment from Monty Rice, a talented inside linebacker, a position of scarcity that the Tigers needed desperately.

As for others considering, Ed Orgeron has made a big push for 5-star DT Marvin Wilson. According to 247 Sports, Wilson seems to be down to Texas, OSU and LSU and don’t be surprised if he lands in Baton Rouge. He will announce his top schools at the Under Armour All-America Game.
