LSU kicker Cole Tracy surprisingly misses out on the Lou Groza Award for the nation’s top collegiate kicker at the College Football Awards in Atlanta.

Tracy was a finalist for the award with Andre Szmyt (Syracuse) and Cooper Rothe (Wyoming). During his one-year stint in Baton Rouge, Tracy has knocked through twenty-five field goals on twenty-nine attempts.

Result: Syracuse’s Andre Szmyt took home the Award.

Cornerback Greedy Williams missed out on the Thorpe Award as well.

Yesterday, Tracy accepted an offer to the Senior Bowl to join Foster Moreau.
