LSU OC Steve Ensminger talks relationship with Joe Brady
LSU offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger spoke to reporters on Monday at the final stop of the Coaches Caravan in New Orleans.
Ensminger was asked a wide-range of questions, but gave a particularly interesting answer regarding the addition of passing game coordinator Joe Brady.
“I have no ego. Joe Brady has the freedom to experiment. We brought him here to help us with the passing game. I told Joe that: ‘Look, take it over.'”
Brady’s official title is passing game coordinator, but it sounds like he’ll be co-offensive coordinator with the knowledge he brings about pro-style offenses. It feels like every year is ‘the year’ that LSU is going to open up the offense, but with Joe Brady it feels like this season we may actually see it in action.
