LSU – 104, North Florida – 52
Game by game, LSU is slowly moving closer to SEC play. On Friday night, Will Wade and the Tigers soundly defeated North Florida 104-52 at the Maravich Center to improve to 8-3 heading into a short Christmas vacation.
The Tigers were led by Duop Reath and Tremont Waters; however, the night was highlighted by the return of team leader Brandon Sampson from ankle injury. Sampson has not touched the court since the Maui Invitational.
Sampson only played 10 minutes, but he did score 7 of his own. LSU will travel to Memphis on Thursday for an 8 p.m. tipoff on CBS Sports Network.
