LSU star pitcher Cole Henry will miss his second consecutive weekend series due to elbow soreness, according to head coach Paul Mainieri at his media availability today.

Henry missed his scheduled start last weekend at Alabama and will not pitch vs. Ole Miss on Friday. Zach Hess will still make the move into the bullpen, though, and Ma’Khail Hilliard will get the nod for the Friday start.

Projected rotation for this weekend:

So. RHP Ma’Khail Hilliard (Friday)

Fr. RHP Landon Marceaux (Saturday)

Jr. RHP Eric Walker (Sunday)

LSU will host Ole Miss for a three-game set beginning Friday at The Box. Each series is now becoming more and more important with the Tigers right there for the SEC West crown at 13-8 in the SEC. Ole Miss is also currently sitting at 13-8 in the conference.
