LSU (21-5, 11-2) fell at home in crushing fashion on Wednesday night to a hungry Florida team fighting for their NCAA Tournament birth.

Kevaughn Allen led the Gators in scoring with 21 points and Noah Locke had 15 points of his own with five rebounds. The Tigers had a chance to win in regulation with 5.7 seconds to go, but Waters took an ill-advised three from way down town that didn’t fall.

“At the end, we didn’t execute. When we had the ball with 5.7 seconds left we didn’t do what we were supposed to do. We didn’t execute,” said Wade.

The Tigers were 16-for-25 from the free-throw line and 7-for-22 from three.
