Former LSU baseball stars Aaron Nola (P) and Alex Bregman (3B) were named to MLB All-Star Game rosters on Sunday afternoon. Nola, the ace for the Philadelphia Phillies, posted a 11-2 record with a 2.41 ERA in the first half.
Bregman, on the other hand, posted a historic month of June, earning AL Player of the Month honors, while also hitting 11 homers and plating 30 RBI.
The young third-basemen from Albuquerque (Nm.) is showing people why it only took him one full year in the minors to be called up to the big leagues.
Bregman and Nola are 1-of-12 LSU Tigers to become MLB All-Stars.
