Hold Dat Tigah alert. Well, maybe.
Ohio State junior quarterback Joe Burrow made it official last week that he is transferring out of the program after losing the starting job to up-and-coming star QB Dwayne Haskins.
So what does this mean? Burrow has decided to narrow his decision down to two schools: LSU and Cincinnati. According to reports, he visited the Bearcats on Thursday before heading to Baton Rouge on Friday for the weekend. This leaves three days for Coach O to lock-in one of the nation’s most highly touted graduate-transfer QB’s.
While in Columbus, Burrow was 29-for-39 passing for 287 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. If all goes well, the Tigers could be getting a quality addition to the quarterback room.
Myles Brennan, Lowell Narcisse and Justin McMillan are still battling for the starting role, and the competition will likely head into fall camp.
