LSU will lose two key receivers in Malachi Dupre and Travin Dural in 2017, however, there is still positivity circulating around the position.

Junior wideout D.J. Chark announced this winter that he would forgo the draft to return to Baton Rouge for next season. This was a monumental announcement for Coach Orgeron and Mickey Joseph, who already saw two leaders head out for the NFL. Chark will wear the coveted No. 7, which was passed down from Leonard Fournette.

One name that has caught the eye of coaches during the spring is sophomore Drake Davis. Ed Orgeron showed great praise in Davis after the Spring Game, saying he will present multiple problems for opposing teams in the coming years. For the Tigers, Dee Anderson, Russell Gage and Stephan Sullivan are all names who have seen quality minutes last season, and are looking to take their role to the next level.
