Sept 12 – LSU will look to start SEC play undefeated as the Tigers host Mississippi State on Saturday. LSU handled a talented Jacksonville State team 34-13, and now have all eyes on their SEC slate. This is a much bigger game than many will think, the Tigers can use some confidence heading to Jordan-Hare on Sept 24.
Next Four Opponents:
9/17 – Mississippi State
9/24 – @Auburn
10/1 – Missouri
10/7 – @Florida
What did we see in last Saturday’s win vs Jacksonville State? Well, a team that ran the ball effectively, with a quality offensive line, something they lacked vs Wisconsin. We saw competent quarterback play by Danny Etling. “Danny can run a team, can make some plays. He wasn’t perfect by any stretch,” said Miles. Many positives came out of the win, but Tiger fans shouldn’t have their hopes up just yet.
Other news: LSU moved up one spot to No. 20 in this week’s AP poll.
Leonard Fournette is likely to start vs Mississippi State.
