LSU QB Brandon Harris announced via Twitter on Monday that he has been granted a full release to transfer out of the program.
Harris started at quarterback for LSU in 2015, completing 149 passes for 13 touchdowns. In 2016, Harris started on a rough note with a shaky showing at Lambeau Field vs Wisconsin. After another below average performance against Jacksonville State, former head coach Les Miles gave back-up Danny Etling the call.
Now, with LSU’s talented incoming QB class with Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse, Harris’ chances at playing time got exceedingly lower. Per sources, Harris and UNC have shown a mutual interest in one another.
