That’s the number of players to transfer from LSU this offseason. Attrition is quite common for programs with new head coaches, but you can’t help but be a little shocked by that number above.

Just this morning, it was announced that LSU redshirt freshman quarterback Lindsey Scott Jr. will transfer from the program. “I had a very good talk with Lindsey this morning and we talked about his future. He is a great young man from a great family. We wish him all of the best in the future,” said Coach Orgeron.

Although this was not the ideal situation for Ed Orgeron, LSU’s quarterback position still is in stable condition, probably a reason leading to Lindsey Scott’s transfer. With Danny Etling and two highly-touted signees (Myles Brennan and Lowell Narcisse) in the room, Scott most likely knew his chances of seeing the field were low. Scott Jr. is “seriously interested” in joining East Miss. Community College.
