Will Wade and the Tigers reportedly hosted Shareef O’Neal for an official visit this weekend, the son of former LSU great Shaquille O’Neal, 247Sports confirms.
O’Neil announced his decision to transfer from UCLA back on Jan. 22, where he averaged 2.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in just 13 games for the Bruins.
The Tigers currently stand in first place in the SEC, and are gaining momentum in the transfer market with the recent signing of Georgetown point guard Josh LeBlanc for next season.
Entering as a four-star prospect, and the No. 8 power forward in the country for his class, O’Neal could provide the Tigers a boost in the paint with his possible commitment.
