Carl Lawson, Auburn’s best defensive linemen has notched five sacks so far in 2016. Gus Malzhan has named Sean White the starting quarterback for Saturday.

LSU will need to correct it’s second half offensive troubles if they want to sneak out of Auburn with a victory. LSU has had difficulties in recent years traveling to Jordan-Haire, two years ago, losing 41-7 in Brandon Harris’ first career start. Auburn (1-2) held their own against Clemson at home on Sept 3, however, lost to a surging Texas A&M team last week. As like LSU, defense is not the point of focus. Auburn has struggled to establish any rhythm or stability with a talented offense. Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, who was at LSU last year, left to take the job after LSU defeated Texas Tech last December, and is doing a fine job with Gus Malzhan.

Sean White went 18-29, 126 yards in Auburn’s loss to Texas A&M.
